This research was a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest and follow-up design. A total of 20 couples (40 individuals) were selected through purposive sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria and randomly assigned into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received ten 45-minute sessions of Gottman couple therapy intervention. The data collection tools included Spanier&rsquo;s Dyadic Adjustment Scale and Walker and Thompson&rsquo;s intimacy questionnaire. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). Results indicated that Gottman couple therapy had significant positive effects on improving marital adjustment (p < 0.001) and couple intimacy (p < 0.001). Moreover, follow-up assessments showed that the effects of Gottman couple therapy on marital adjustment and intimacy were stable over time. Considering these findings, the Gottman method can be used as an effective treatment to improve marital relationships, adjustment, and intimacy. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی تأثیر زوج‌درمانی با رویکرد گاتمن بر ارتقای صمیمیت و سازگاری زناشویی در زوجین دارای تعارض انجام شد. این پژوهش یک مطالعه نیمه‌آزمایشی با طرح پیش‌آزمون، پس‌آزمون و ارزیابی پیگیری بود.20 زوج (40 نفر) با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گیری و با در نظر گرفتن معیارهای ورود و خروج انتخاب شدند و به صورت تصادفی در دو گروه آزمایش و گواه تقسیم شدند. شرکت‌کنندگان گروه آزمایش، ده جلسه 45 دقیقه‌ای تحت مداخله زوج‌درمانی گاتمن قرار گرفتند. ابزارهای پژوهش شامل پرسشنامه اسپانیر و پرسشنامه واکر و تامپسون بود. داده‌ها با استفاده از تحلیل واریانس تجزیه و تحلیل شدند. نتایج نشان داد که رویکرد زوج‌درمانی گاتمن تأثیرات مثبتی بر بهبود سازگاری زناشویی (001/0 P<) و صمیمیت زوجین (001/0 P<) داشت. علاوه بر این، نتایج ارزیابی‌ها در دوره پیگیری حاکی از آن بود که زوج‌درمانی گاتمن اثرات پایداری بر سازگاری زناشویی و صمیمیت زوجین دارد. با توجه به نتایج مطالعه حاضر، روش گاتمن می‌تواند به عنوان یک درمان مؤثر جهت بهبود روابط زناشویی، سازگاری و صمیمیت مورد استفاده قرار گیرد. /downloadfilepdf/7798594
