The statistical population included all normal and gifted high school students in the city of Isfahan who were studying in the academic year 2019-2020. From this statistical population, 400 students (200 normal students and 200 gifted students) were selected by cluster sampling from normal and gifted schools in the first round of high school in Isfahan. Subjects responded to Felner's social competency and Zimet's social support scales. The obtained data were analyzed using independent t-test. Findings showed that the mean scores of social support and social competence in gifted students are significantly higher than normal students and there is a significant difference between the mean scores of social support and social competence in gifted and normal students (P <0.05). According to the obtained results, planning to increase social support and social competence in normal school students can lead to positive achievements such as increasing academic motivation, academic performance and achievement, and effective communication with peers. Accordingly, it is suggested that the necessary educational planning be done in order to increase social support and social competence in normal school students. پژوهش حاضر با هدف مقایسه‌ی حمایت اجتماعی و شایستگی اجتماعی در دانش‌آموزان تیزهوش و عادی و در یک طرح علّی- مقایسه‌ای، انجام شد. جامعه‌ی آماری شامل کلیه‌ی دانش‌آموزان مدارس عادی و تیزهوش دوره‌ی اول متوسطه‌ در شهر اصفهان بود که در سال تحصیلی 1399-1398 مشغول به تحصیل بودند. از این جامعه‌ی آماری 400 نفر دانش‌آموز (200 نفر دانش‌آموز عادی و 200 نفر دانش‌آموز تیزهوش) به روش نمونه‌گیری خوشه‌ای از مدارس عادی و تیزهوش دوره‌ی اول متوسطه‌ی شهر اصفهان انتخاب شدند. آزمودنی‌ها به مقیاس‌های شایستگی اجتماعی فلنر و حمایت اجتماعی زیمت پاسخ دادند. داده‌های به‌دست‌آمده با استفاده از روش آماری t مستقل تحلیل شدند. یافته‌ها نشان داد که میانگین نمرات حمایت اجتماعی و شایستگی اجتماعی در دانش‌آموزان تیزهوش به‌طور معنی‌داری بیشتر از دانش‌آموزان عادی است و بین میانگین نمرات حمایت اجتماعی و شایستگی اجتماعی در دانش‌آموزان تیزهوش و عادی تفاوت معنی‌داری وجود دارد (05/0 >P). با توجه به نتایج به‌دست‌آمده، برنامه‌ریزی به‌منظور افزایش حمایت اجتماعی و شایستگی اجتماعی در دانش‌آموزان مدارس عادی می‌تواند دستاوردهای مثبتی چون افزایش انگیزش تحصیلی، عملکرد و پیشرفت تحصیلی و ارتباط مؤثر با همسالان را در پی داشته باشد. بر این اساس، پیشنهاد می‌شود برنامه‌ریزی آموزشی لازم، به‌منظور افزایش حمایت اجتماعی و شایستگی اجتماعی در دانش‌آموزان مدارس عادی انجام گیرد. /downloadfilepdf/2641293
